July 17, 2007- As the Niagara Power's Season is nearing an end within the next few weeks, the team finds itself at an overall 17-16 record and an 16-16 NYCBL record and 5th place in the NYCBL Standings (6 games back of 1st). Congratulations goes to three Power players that were recognized at the NYCBL Mid-Summer Classic (All-Star Game) on July 6th. Chas Mye (LHP, Lake Sumter CC), Alec Cabello (MIF, Canisius), and Joel Blomberg (OF, Lake Sumter CC) made the NYCBL Western Division All-Star Roster, with Cabello and Blomberg starting in their respective positions. The Eastern Division won the contest by a score of 7-3.
June 5, 2007- NIAGARA POWER off to a great start!!! The Niagara Power opened the 2007 Inaugural Season on Monday June 4th with a victory over Meridian by a score of 5-0 at Sal Maglie Stadium. Local NY player, Chas Mye, picked up the first win ever for the Power while college teammate, Joel Blomberg recorded the first team hit and first run. The Power was scheduled to play on Sunday, but was cancelled due to rain.

March 7, 2007- Come and experience the Power!!! The inaugural season of the Niagara Power is soon approaching. The Power will begin playing on June 3, 2007 at Sal Maglie Stadium in Niagara Falls, NY. The man for whom the Power’s park is named, ruled major league mounds in the early 1950’s. The Niagara Falls native, educated at Niagara University, went 59-18 in 1950-52.
