| After 25 years as the Head Baseball Coach at the University of Kentucky, Keith felt God called him into ministering to fellow coaches. As FCA’s National Director of College Baseball, Keith has been blessed to reach hundreds of coaches through personal contact, letters, phone calls and e-mails. He e-mails a biweekly devotional to over 500 coaches nationwide. The biweekly devotional can also be found on this website. | Keith and Sharon are now able to sit together and watch baseball as fans in the stands.
| After a knee injury helped to end a promising career in the Cincinnati Reds organization, Keith was led into a coaching career where he could pour himself into the young men. He coached first at Lake Wales High School in Lake Wales, FL, then at Mississippi State University as a graduate assistant. He accepted the head coaching position at the University of Kentucky at the young age of 26 and was the youngest SEC coach in the nation at that time. Keith retired from coaching at the end of the 2003 at UK. He was approached by Mike Lusardi (Executive Director of FCA Baseball) to consider becoming the Director of the College Division of FCA Baseball. After much prayer, both he and Sharon sensed God's calling and accepted the challenge. Sharon retired from teaching to minister to coaches' wives, write the bi-monthly newsletter, create the bi-weekly devotional in the "Coaches' Wives Only" link, and help with "e-mail devotionals" that are sent out to hundreds of baseball coaches bi-weekly. Since October 2004, Sharon has been blessed to speak to over 300 coaches' wives and Keith has spoken to over 1,500 coaches in ten states and 5.000players. God has truly blessed them with many opportunities to share His message of love and reconciliation |
