What:  The FCA Baseball National Network Vision & Leadership Meetings
                 *  To cast vision (locally, regionally & nationally)
                 *  To train team and project leadership (procedures, protocol, strategies & resources)
                 *  To introduce the The National Fellowship of Christian Athletes Baseball Association
                 *  To motivate, encourage, sharpen, fellowship, and commission
                     (war stories, testimonials, coaching & ministry advice and Biblical instruction)

When:  November 16-18, 2007 (see schedule & travel sections below for arrival & departure info.)

Who:    These meetings are for anyone who is a current FCA Baseball National Network Team or Project Leader Member and anyone else interested in knowing more about the FCA Baseball National Network - its memberships, procedures, protocol, strategies, resources, etc.  (Currently, there are over 15 states represented in our network membership.)

Where:   First Tennessee Fields, home of Gameday Baseball (and prospective future home of FCA Baseball) ... a 10-field facility located just off Germantown Parkway at 7800 Fischer Steel Road, Cordova, TN 38018 (a suburb of Memphis) 901.531.7410 (Clubhouse Number)

Travel:     

¨        Upon arrival in Memphis, travel to the First Tennessee Fields for the FCA Baseball National Network Reception.

¨        We will travel to the hotel from First Tennessee Fields after the Reception.

¨        We will travel to our homes or airport from First Tennessee Fields at end of the conference.

Flying

¨        Arrival Time:  Book your flight to arrive by 2:00 PM

¨        Departure Time:  Book your return flight to depart at 2:00 PM or later

¨        Rental Car: If you are flying, you will need a 2-day car rental

1:  Start out going EAST on WINCHESTER RD.  0.4 miles

2:  Take the ramp toward I-240.  0.7 miles

3:  Merge onto PLOUGH BLVD.  1.3 miles

4:  Merge onto I-240 E toward NASHVILLE.  9.6 miles

5:  Take the WALNUT GROVE RD exit- EXIT 13.  0.1 miles

6:  Take the WALNUT GROVE RD EAST ramp.  0.1 miles

7:  Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto WALNUT GROVE RD.  0.3 miles

8:  Keep LEFT at the fork to continue on WALNUT GROVE RD.  3.3 miles

9:  Take the TN-177 N ramp.  0.2 miles

10: Turn LEFT onto N GERMANTOWN RD (also called TN-177 N & N GERMANTOWN PKWY).  1.0 miles

11: Turn LEFT onto FISCHER STEEL RD.  0.3 miles

12: End at 7800 Fischer Steel Rd., Cordova, TN 38018-2268 – First Tennessee Fields / Gameday Baseball Complex

*** Since there are many ways to get to Memphis by car, we recommend you use MapQuest (http://www.mapquest.com/) to get your driving directions.  Simply enter your Starting Location address information only (no need to enter your Place Name) and then enter the following Ending Location address information:  7800 Fischer Steel Road, Cordova, TN 38018 (again, no need to enter the Place Name).  Hit Get Directions and you’re on your way. ***

Lodging:       To Be Determined

¨        Check-in Time:  Friday, November 16th @ 4:00 PM       

¨        Check-out Time:  Sunday, November 18th @ 8:00 AM

Cost:               $250

¨        Try to get your church, team or ministry sponsor to help pay for your conference cost, or add this total conference expense to your team budget as a line item to be covered by your player fees and corporate sponsorships.

¨        The cost for the conference covers:

o       3 Meals (Supper on Friday & Saturday and Lunch on Saturday)

o       Lodging (2 nights x $50 per night with assigned or requested roommate)

o       Conference Costs (copies, supplies, drinks, snacks, & speaker costs)

¨        If you choose to stay in a room by yourself, you will need to add an extra $100 to the cost.

¨        Breakfast on Saturday & Sunday is included with the hotel cost.

¨        All transportation costs are on your own.
