To Become An FCA Baseball Project Member, You Will Need To Take The Following Steps:
Step 1) Fill out the online FCA Baseball Prospective Youth Team or Project Membership Registration Form below and submit the required information to the FCA Baseball office. Once you click the Submit Button, you will be re-directed to FCA's online Ministry Leader Application (MLA).
Note: Since you are not applying as a Youth Team Leader, you can skip the Youth Team Information section.
The MLA is an FCA National Office requirement for all volunteers (non-FCA Staff) leading and coordinating FCA projects and events. The information requested on FCA Baseball's online registration form is additional information needed for making our final decision. We know it is a lot of work to go through this involved application process, but we want to make sure that all of our FCA Baseball National Network Members are on the same page. Nothing good comes easy, so please bear with the process, it will be worth it in the end.
Step 2) Fill out and submit the online Ministry Leader Application (MLA) and submit it to FCA's National Office.
Important Instructions when filling out the FCA Experience section of the MLA ...
A. When you get to the question asking: As a Ministry Leader, you desire to participate in the following FCA Ministries ... Go to the Community Ministry column and select " Other". B. Then, type FCA Baseball National Network in the "Other" box. C. Next, when you get to the question asking: For what FCA Ministry are you completing this Ministry Leader Application? ... select "Sport Specific Ministry (Lacrosse, Golf, Baseball, Fitness, Etc.)." D. As soon as you make this "Sport Specific Ministry" selection, the page will briefly refresh, bringing you to the next question: For what Sport Specific Ministry are you completing this Ministry Leader Application? ... select "Baseball" from the pull-down menu box.
By following the above-mentioned MLA instructions, you will insure that the MLA will be sent to the FCA Baseball Office.
Step 3) Once you click the MLA Submit Button, you will need to be patient and sit back and wait, while FCA Baseball reviews all of your submitted information, contacts your references and makes a final decision. We will notify you as soon as possible via email of your acceptance, as well as provide you with a link to order your Leader's Kit through our FCAGear website. As part of the online registration form, you will be asked to check three boxes. One box is an agreement to strive to live by the FCA Coach's Mandate to the best of your ability and with God's help. The second box is your agreement with an abbreviated mission statement and leader's code of conduct. The third box is a statement agreeing to sign the FCA Baseball Youth Team Contract Packet documents as a team, which is your commitment to adhere to FCA's Youth Baseball Guidelines and Strategies. (As an FCA Baseball Project Leader, you do not need to check this third box, since it only applies to FCA Baseball Youth Team Leaders.)

The Coach's Mandate
Pray as though nothing of eternal value is going to happen in my athletes' lives unless God does it.
Prepare each practice and game as giving your "utmost for His highest."
Seek not to be served by my athletes for personal gain, but seek to serve them as Christ served the church.
Be satisfied not with producing a good record, but with producing good athletes.
Attend carefully to my private and public walk with God, knowing that the athlete will never rise to a standard higher than that being lived by the coach.
Exalt Christ in my coaching, trusting that the Lord will then draw athletes to Himself.
Desire to have a growing hunger for God's Word, for personal obedience, for fruit of the Spirit and for saltiness in competition.
Depend solely upon God for transformation—one athlete at a time.
Preach Christ's word in a Christ-like manner, on and off the field of competition.
Recognize that it is impossible to bring glory to both myself and Christ at the same time.
Allow my coaching to exude the fruit of the Spirit, thus producing Christ-like athletes.
Trust God to produce in my athletes His chosen purposes, regardless of whether the wins are readily visible.
Coach with humble gratitude as one privileged to be God's coach.
