Sixty Six years ago Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in baseball by playing in his first game as a Brooklyn Dodger. In honor of Jackie Robinson’s courage and life all Major League baseball players wore the number 42, Robinson’s old number.

    April 23-Pray Scripture Lesson: 1 Kings 18:41-46 Today is the birthday of one of the greatest lefthanders in baseball history, Warren Spahn. In his 21 year career mostly spent with the Milwaukee Braves, Spahn won 363 games, struke out 2,583 batters and had a career ERA of 3.09. Along with Braves pitcher Johnny Sain the two hurlers created one of the best one-two punches in all baseball history.
